The Turboflotor Blue 3000 is designed for installation in any mode. As a hang on, it is simply hung over the edge of the aquarium. Only the venturi pump is inside the tank. In the cabinet, it can be installed inside or outside the filter sump.

At only 58 cm high, it is sized to fit nearly every standard aquarium cabinet. The high skimming capacity is guaranteed by the controlled water flow within the skimmer body and the patented conical riser within the foam cup. The foam production is controlled by a simple one handed adjustment.

The skimmer is driven by the powerful Ocean Runner venturi pump, with ceramic bearings for silent operation. The patented and time served Aqua Medic Needle Wheel ensures high air intake and optimum bubble size. The unit is manufactured using high quality acrylic.

This is the standard starting model of the AP skimmer range and still has the highest performance amongst the rivals in its class.

All AP600 skimmers are fitted with an Aquabee pump and Deltec needle wheel impellor for unbeatable performance. The 230V version of the AP600 is fitted with 1 pump, drawing in 350lts of air per hour making it suitable for aquariums up to 700 litres (155 UK gallons).

The skimmer must be supplied with water either by gravity feed from the aquarium or via a separate pump.

The Deltec MC500 is the ideal model for those with little space in their tank or sump, or for fitting inside a Jewel Aquarium without modifying the lights. In our opinion, it is one of the best skimmers on the market.

When starting up in marine fish keeping, many people opt for a budget skimmer that gets thrown away after 6 months either because it breaks, or because they upgrade their system.
