Previously Acanthastrea now Micromussa Acans are still one of the most desirable corals in the hobby. This is mainly due to the amazing colours they come in and their ease of care.
They benefit from regular feeding but this is not necessary. They do well when placed lower in the reef as the flow is not as strong. Be aware that certain "Reef Safe" fish have a tendency to eat Acans this include certain tangs and rabbit fish (this is mainly down to incorrect feeding of the fish.).
